Surf's Up!

Trafalgar Surf Trip is a Surf School and Surf Holiday Company based on the Costa de la Luz in South West Spain. Surfing lessons are held on the beaches of Conil de la Frontera and El Palmar in Cadiz province.

The year-round warm waters combined with the variety of surf beaches and waves on this coast make this part of Spain the ideal place to learn or develop your surfing skills. We are proud to offer male and female instructors who are fully qualified surf coaches and lifeguards. We are a mobile Surf School and offer a twice-daily pick-up and drop-off service from your hotel, villa or camp-site. In this way we can take you to the beach with the best conditions for your surf lesson. Alternatively, you can arrange to meet us at the beach if you wish.

From the coastal towns of La Barrosa, Roche, Conil de la Frontera, El Palmar and Canos de Meca, we offer a twice-daily pick-up service from your hotel, apartment, campsite or local surf shop. The pick-up time is usually 10am for the morning session and between 4-5pm in the afternoon, but times can vary through the year. We take you to the best beach for your surfing lesson. We provide you with a high quality wetsuit and a surfboard appropriate for your level of surfing. Once ready for action we do a one and a half hour lesson on the beach and in the water. We then take you back to your accommodation; in the morning this will be no later than 1pm and for the afternoon session between 7-8pm. Alternatively you can arrange your own transport to the beach for your surf lesson.

Our classes are limited to a maximum of 5 students per group or 3 children per group for children's lessons. We offer lessons for a variety of levels as well as children specific groups (from age 7) and women / girls surfing groups. We also provide out of season ‘Surf Holidays' which run from October - June. The holiday packages include accommodation, morning surf lessons or surf guiding, surf equipment use throughout the week, yoga classes and several other optional activities and social events.

Professional and experienced instructors teach our surf lessons, all of whom have obtained accredited surfing instructors qualifications in Spain, the UK and Australia . Their enthusiasm, passion and knowledge of surfing will be evident in the lesson and will undoubtedly make for an unforgettable surfing experience.
