Seventy-five happy golfers emerged through the Second Qualifying Stage to take their places at this week's Final Stage, most notably England's Philip Archer, American Ryan Blaum, European Tour champion Santiago Luna of Spain and Sweden's Fredrik Ohlsson.

The andalucian golfer Miguel Presyler (images) won the thrid International Senior Amateur Strokeplay tournament for men in an intense third round at the beautifull sea-side golf course of Costa Ballena .

Germany won the Quadrangular Series Matchplay at Costa Ballena in Cádiz, held for the 8th time this year.

The German team showed its strength to its rivals during the first two days leaving England and Spain on second and third place.

Søren Kjeldsen completed a wire-to-wire victory in the last ever Volvo Masters after a final round 71 as Robert Karlsson became the first Swede to win The European Tour Order of Merit. That was enough to finish two strokes ahead of England's Anthony Wall and Germany's Martin Kaymer.
