Montenmedio Golf & Country Club is situated just outside Vejer de la Frontera and using the new highway it is only a 25 minutes drive from the urbanisation Novo Sancti Petri. The  course has the great advantage to be situated in the middle of an old pine-tree forest and therefore has a fantastic ambience with lots of wildlife and storks watching you while you play this challenging design. The greens are very small and well protected by deep and tricky bunkers.  Be smart off the tee box and position your ball well to be able to score. In 2008 Montenmedio G&CC was venue of the European Tour for the first time while hosting the second stage of qualifying school.

Absolutely breathtaking are the views over the countryside from the 15th fairway and the Atlantic Ocean with a view over Barbate from the 17th fairway. With a bit of luck you will see deer and wild Andalusian horses grazing in the meadows. 

Montenmedio is also famous for it's equestrian centre and hosts the well known Sunshine Tour event with competitors from all over the world.
