Montecastillo is located just outside Jerez de la Frontera 10 minutes away form Jerez Airport. The course was designed in 1992 by the one and only Mr Jack Nicklaus. As you can imagine from the best golfer that ever lived, the quality of its design is absolutely fantastic with amazing views and beautiful shaped holes through the hilly countryside of Jerez de la Frontera. Montecastillo hosted The Volvo Masters 5 years in a row (1997-2001)  before it went to Valderrama. With good course management and playing one shot at a time you can really make a good score here. Beware of the stunning and tricky finish which has ruined lots of scores during The Volvo Masters.
