A windy and hard day at Golf El Puerto

Due to the holidays and a few rainy Fridays we finally mangaged to play the Friday escape again. This time we went to Golf El Puerto in El Puerto de Santa Maria, a great design of Manuel Piñero, a great player! Three new members played along with us today, Adrian Berger (SUI), Derek Roach (UK) and Brian Robinson (UK), making the group a total of 11 players. The strong south-westerly wind made the course play really long from most holes, perhaps the reason for the low scores.
This week's winner was Beverly Miller with a very good score of 33 points, going out with 14 and coming in with 19 points!!! She was very surprised she won beacuae 33 points is queit normal for her. Well done Bev, congratulations! Runner-up this week was Scotsmen Trevor Tailor (a great singer they say) with 32 stableford points. Trevor also won his side match with Derek against Brian & Thomas with 1 up, a wee bit lucky :) but well deserved!
It was nice to have seen everybody again and hopefully we'll play again next Friday, depending on the weather circumstances, we'll keep you informed.
