Brian Tierney

Fully licensed golf professional and member of the PGA of Ireland

Originally from Dublin, Brian was introduced to golf at the age of 10 by a friend´s father, he was hooked on the game straight away and got down to a single digit handicap quiet quickly. In his early twenties Brian decided to make a living out of golf and gave up his amateur status and turned professional. After spending thirteen years in Cologne in Germany, he then decided to move to Southern Europe where he now live over four years.

As we speak, Brian is the professional at Montenmedio G&CC in Vejer where he teaches the game to golfers of different skill level and nationality. With over 20 years of golf experience, Brian views student development as a personal challenge built on a combined effort between himself and the student. He finds that each individual situation, requires a unique and individual approach. Brian´s way of teaching is very student focused where change is determined by the students personal capabilities, skill levels and commitment.

Brian is now attached to the European Golf Society of Cadiz and offers his services to all EGSC members at a special rate. Lessons with Brian will be given at the beautiful parkland course of Montenmedio G&CC in Vejer de la Frontera.

 

One to one coaching

Apart from a check-up of the basics of the full swing (set-up. posture, grip, stance and alignment) you will have some extra time spend on the short game and putting.

Swing analysis

Brian offers this special service where he will make a video from different angles to be able to show you exactly what you are doing good and of course what you are doing wrong. As we know, with golf the difficulty is that you can't see what you're doing when you take away the club. Of course you can feel movements but you will never be able to see what you are doing. Therefore this service is very useful, you will learn a lot about every move you make and Brian will take you rthrough your swing movements and then find the best drills for you how to improve mistakes and failures in your swing.
