Following upon the relaunch of Friday Escapes at Montenmedio on 4th December competition moved on to Villanueva on the 11th and then to Sherry this week. At Villanueva Jon Cox enjoyed his maiden victory with 32 points - 15 going out and 17 coming back. He was closely followed by Trevor Taylor (31 points) whilst in 3rd place Mike Ryan accumulated 30 points.

Following Jon's success there followed a victory for wife Karin this week at Sherry Golf Club. On a wonderful day for golf, warm sunshine and no wind Karin returned 22 points on the front nine along with 15 on the back nine making 37 in total. Trevor Taylor again took second place with a commendable 35 points. In third place was Derek Roach with 32 points.

We are planning to play again at Villanueva on Boxing Day with tee off around 12.30pm. All members plus guests are welcome. Green fees will be 25 euros plus 5 euro sweep.
