A new image for Montenmedio

For lots of us it was a big surpirsie to see what they did to the old clubhouse but for some of our guests it wasn't because the changes are done in a very nice and modern way. In less than 25 days they knocked down a huge part of the old clubhouse and dining-room and changed the caddy master area into a very nice golf shop and club house area with bar and lounge ara. very nicely done and as many of us said, a big improvement.
It was a very humid Friday afternoon and lots of us had the old man sweat patches allready marked after 2 holes played! The course was in good conditions burt farily wet though because of all the rain of lst week. This week we had 9 players participating and with
Winner was our youngest society member, Sam Lister, going out with 19 points and coming back in with 16 point to win with a total of 35 points! Steady play form Sam and Funny enough ....l didn't make any birdies during his round so pretty consistent play from him, well done!
Runner-up was Michael Ryan, with 30 points total. Michael shot 19 points going out and only 11 going in, this might come becasue he joined Thomas and Roger after 9 holes, so the 4-ball didn't do go to him, sorry Mike....
