Back at Montenmedio again! It's  always a pleasure to play at Montenmedio's natural and testing golf course. Although this time the golf course was in very wet conditions, which made it play a bit more difficult and longer. This might be the reason the sores weren't too good this Friday.

Originally from Dublin, Brian was introduced to golf at the age of 10 by a friend´s father, he was hooked on the game straight away and got down to a single digit handicap quiet quickly.

As always at Sherry Golf, the course was in excellent shape with fast greens and gently rolling fairways, a real pleasure to play and even better on a sunny November afternoon! Unfortunately there were only 6 players participating this Friday but nevertheless we had a great time.

After not having played the Friday Escape for a few weeks because of the rain we finally managed to go to the lovely sea side course of Costa Ballena in Rota. For some of the members it was the first time they played this course, so a new golf experience for them.

One would expect beautiful weather in this season of the year but unfortunately this was not the case on the last Friday of May. Pretty strong showers came in from the north-west making it a tough and wet day at Arcos Gardens G&CC.

The Friday afternoon escape will start on Friday the 3rd of Ocotber on Montenmedio G&CC. The idea behind this is to go out and play more different golf courses in the area.

With a bit more luck than last week regarding the weather, we played the first Friday Afternoon Escape on the beautiful parkland course of Benalup.The local 'poniente' breeze kept it nice and cool during this new EGSC event which as most said afterwards is 'a great idea' and 'very nice to play

For lots of us it was a big surpirsie to see what they did to the old clubhouse but for some of our guests it wasn't because the changes are done in a very nice and modern way.
