A lovely sunny day and a course in great condition

As always at Sherry Golf, the course was in excellent shape with fast greens and gently rolling fairways, a real pleasure to play and even better on a sunny November afternoon! Unfortunately there were only 6 players participating this Friday but nevertheless we had a great time. Sherry golf hosted the Pre-Q school of the European Tour 2 weeks ago and you could still feel the greens were firmer than normal which made putting a real pleasure but a test as well. It wasn't too busy so we could play nice and comforatble without having to wait or whatsoever.
Winner of this Friday Escape was Marlyn Adams who recently sigend up together with her husband Jim. Marlyn went out with 15 points on the front nine and came back in with a very strong 18 points. She even made a birdie on the 10th hole par 4, worth 5 points playing of handciap 28! An amazing score and nett this is like shooting a hole in one, well done Marlyn!!! A great result and very nice to have our first female winner. Runner up this week was Thomas IJland with a total of 33 points.
